The New Communist Imperium of the Rising Suns of Deominius is a sovereign system in Sector 13 -7. It is a communist state with a carefully planned economy ruled by Shining Emperor Odakim IV. In practice, the Emperor does not actually partake in politics, but functions as a figurehead for his son Odakim V who has de facto inherited the throne even if de juro his father has not yet abdicated.

The Deominians have great expansionist ambitions since the coming to power of Odakim V and is currently in the process of building armies and fleets, with surprising efficiency. Despite this efficiency, the state has significant financial difficulty since it has found it difficult to compete with other Union worlds and voices have already been raised that the Imperium may one day leave the Union and go its own way.

Deominius was once a Sith world and several Sith temples still remain on its surface, now preserved as historical sites.
